We also carry the original Hutchens Device which is still the most economical way to reduce your risks in an impact! If you are not wearing a head and neck restraint, and are on a tight budget, this is a great device for you. This device has proven it's perfromance for years, and has protected racers form impacts up to 70G's. This system has quick 1-time adjustments, no adjustment to the seat system, and no issues with getting in and out of the car. The Hutchens Device now has an optional helmet hook with two hooks on either side of the helmet. This harnesses better controls the head throughout the event. The Hutchens Device relies on the lap belt buckle as an "anchor" for the system, see the instruction page for details. Comes complete with everything you need to race in small, medium, large, X-large and child's size.
Note: Some pictures in the Instruction Manual of the device and how it mounts to the helmet are out of date (now you just use provided D-rings), but the rest of the instructions are accurate. The Leg Straps come with the device, but are Optional to use. See manual for further details.
